Guitar Lessons with a webcam

I am very excited to announce that I am finally offering guitar lessons to the general public. Thanks to advances in technology, I am able to give high quality private guitar lessons over the internet. Awesome!
Learn the Spanish/Latin/Flamenco/Classical Guitar Style as taught by John H. Clarke.
You can now get private guitar lessons in the comfort of you own home even if your hundreds or even thousands of mile away.
What you need:
1. A good internet connection. You need Cable or DSL, the equivalent or better. Sorry but a dial-up connection isn’t fast enough.
2. A Webcam. A webcam is little video camera that rests on top of your computer monitor. They are available everywhere and are becoming more inexpensive.
3. A head set or microphone. A headset is a just like regular headphones but also with a mic built in. You wear it on your head so so that you can talk and hear while having your hands free. It plugs right into your computer. Your computer may have a built in mic. In that case you just need to plug in some headphones.
4. A free program called Skype. Skype is easy to download and install and allows you to talk, message, and video conference to people all over the world.
5. A credit card for payment.
How to sign up
1. Make sure you have the necessary hardware and software and that it is working properly.
2. Email me (info@johnclarkemusic.com) and let me know that you want to set up an appointment for your first lesson. Let me know what time zone you are in and what days and times you prefer (Mon. Tues. Wed. are best for me). I will respond with a confirmed date and my skype user name.
3. Before we begin the lesson, we will make sure we are able
to connect through Skype. Just give me a call, using the user name I sent, a few minutes before your scheduled lesson .
4. Once we have established a good connection and everything is working, we will hang up. I will send an invoice to your email address that you will need to immediately pay online with a credit card.
5. After a few short moments your payment will come through and I will call you back and begin the lesson.
6. If you are completely satisfied with the lesson you can then decide if you want to do re-occurring lessons once a week, or twice a month. I will then invoice you on a monthly basis. Or, you can always just take lessons anytime you feel like by following the above steps 1-5.
Get a video recording of your guitar lesson!
One of the coolest features of the guitar lessons I am offering is a complete video recording of the session. You will be able to download the your personal lesson and watch it as many times as you want.
This is great for remembering what you was covered during the lesson. Never forget what to do for guitar homework again! The video will show both your teacher and yourself.
A fantastic learning tool!!! It is well known among guitar teachers the importance of playing in front of a mirror to see where you need to improve. In my guitar lesson video you will be able to watch your yourself and your teacher at the same time as you review your lesson.
If you prefer not to have your lesson recorded you can always opt out. But don’t worry. These video’s are made as a service for you. They won’t be used for any other purpose without your expressed permission.
You lesson will include:
- Solid 30 minutes one on one guitar instruction with John H. Clarke.
- Full-screen live video on your computer monitor.
- A video recording of your lesson that you can download to your computer.
- the secrets to getting the spanish/latin/flamenco/and classical guitar sound.
Payment and fees
Currently only credit card is accepted for these webcam guitar lessons. Private Lesson are $25 per half hour. You can choose to have just one lesson or you can take as many lessons as you want. I recommend starting with one lesson per week. That would run a you $100 per month.

Awesome idea! $25 a lesson from someone as talented as you is a bargain in my eyes! I see lessons priced for more on craigslist all the time! I definitely plan on doing this soon.
